But I just don&#8217;t get as much use out of it anymore as someone else may. It&#8217;s an absolutely killer sounding mic &#8212; very open and transparent (perfect for pop-esque vocals), but since it&#8217;s a tube mic, it has the thickness and weight of something like a U47. While I&#8217;ve mainly used it on vocals, I&#8217;ve also had incredible use for it on Kick Out (the low-end extension is pretty crazy!), mono overhead, and acoustic instruments (especially acoustic guitar and cello).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had this for a few years and it has gotten some great use. It is in mint\/like-new condition without any issues whatsoever.
